We are always improving our buildings. As we audit departments some areas are being restructured to allow for better use of natural daylight reducing the requirement for artificial lighting. Additional ventilation is being installed to reduce the requirement of forced ventilation.
By addressing the issue of energy efficiency in our buildings, we will contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Our purchasing policy favours suppliers and contractors that adopt best environmental practices.
Recycling
Adopting effective practices
Where possible waste materials are recycled. These include oils, cardboard, styrene packaging, all waste metals, catalytic converters, batteries and window glass.
Waste Management
Ensuring future sustainability
While all measures are made to ensure that we recycle as much of our waste as possible and will continue to promote, develop and implement waste prevention and reduction. We use appropriately regulated waste management contractors to ensure safe management of waste sent off-site in accordance with best environmental practice. We will continue to work closely with our suppliers and customers towards achieving our environmental policy aims.
